Safer necklace designed by five young engineers to keep women safe

Five young engineers in India have developed a necklace called Safer to protect women from violence. A 23-year-old student was gang-raped in a car in Delhi, India, on December 16, 2012, and died 13 days later.

After telling his young friend Capi that he wanted to invent something for the safety of women, Capi joined five of his college friends to form an organization called Leaf. Then the five of them thought of inventing something for women.

“We were thinking of making a jacket that would go away as soon as we grabbed it. But at this temperature, I wondered which woman would wear a jacket. After devising various ideas, I came to think that women love to wear jewelry. “That’s why this beautiful necklace was born.”

This necklace is made of sapphire blue. Green It comes in three colors: purple and the gems are made of steel. The back of the necklace contains a small triangular chip, which can be used to connect to a communications app by double-clicking the chip in the event of an accident.
